I wanted to center these artworks around my heritage and cultural identity as a way of showcasing who I am as a person. Each piece in my portfolio represents significant influences from my upbringing that I believe are important for fully comprehending my identity.

The focus of this artwork is mate, a traditional South American herbal beverage. Beyond just being a drink, mate holds an immense cultural significance in Argentine society, strengthening bonds with friends and creating new ones.

The drawing portrays San Martin, an Argentine hero who, much like George Washington, played a crucial role in liberating much of South America, including Argentina. He is revered by the Argentine people for his nationalism and passion. 

Argentine cowboys, known as Gauchos, embody independence, resourcefulness, and a close connection to nature - characteristics defining the Argentine people.
