Who Are We?

VOYAMUN (Voice of Youth Assembly Model United Nations) is a youth-led organization dedicated to empowering young people through diplomacy, leadership, dialogue, and meaningful initiatives. Founded by Abdul Mateen, VOYAMUN aims to create opportunities for young individuals to develop their voices, exchange perspectives, and engage with issues that shape our world.

Beyond Model United Nations, VOYAMUN organizes and supports conferences, awareness initiatives, collaborations, and youth-focused projects, creating a platform where young people can learn, connect, and contribute to positive change.

Our mission is simple: empower young voices and turn them into meaningful action.

Our Vision

At VOYAMUN, we want to create a space where young people can actually get opportunities to learn, speak, connect, and make their voices heard. Since our beginning, we’ve organized 10 successful conferences, completely free of cost, giving students the chance to experience diplomacy, leadership, public speaking, and teamwork without worrying about registration fees. But we don’t want to stop at MUN conferences. Our goal is to keep growing VOYAMUN into a platform for projects, awareness initiatives, collaborations, and new opportunities for young people. We’re still growing, but our vision is simple: to give young people a platform where their voices can turn into something meaningful.

Our Projects:

1. EmpowerMUN

  EmpowerMUN is a project by VOYAMUN focused on promoting awareness of women’s rights, challenging misogyny, and addressing domestic and gender-based violence. Through diplomacy, education, and meaningful discussion, the project aims to empower young people to speak up for equality, dignity, and safer communities.

2. MUN Opportunities Network

  MUN Opportunities Network is a community dedicated to helping delegates discover free and online Model United Nations conferences. We aim to make it easier for students who struggle to find accessible, quality MUN opportunities to connect with conferences, organizers, and the wider MUN community. 

 VOYAMUN is constantly working on bringing new projects, initiatives, and opportunities for young people. As a non-profit, youth-led organization, our goal is to make these opportunities as accessible as possible, especially for students who may not have access to them otherwise. From free MUN conferences and delegate communities to awareness initiatives and future collaborations, we’re always looking for new ways to connect, educate, and empower young people. This is only the beginning, and we’re excited to keep building more projects that can make a real difference
