Atamura Apps ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how Vox Recorder Pro collects, uses, and protects your information.

1. Information We Collect

Vox Recorder Pro is designed to work completely offline and store everything locally on your device.

Audio Recordings: All voice recordings are stored locally on your device.

Calendar Data: If you choose to link a recording to a calendar event, we read basic event information (title, date, time, location) from your calendar to create the link.

App Settings & Preferences: Your chosen theme, audio settings, language, etc.

Tags, Bookmarks, and Chapters: All metadata you create is stored locally.

We do not collect:

Personal identification information (name, email, phone number)

Location data

Any audio content for our servers

2. Permissions and Why We Need Them

Backups are created as encrypted ZIP files (if you choose to back up).

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties.

The only external services possibly involved are:

Google Play Services (for app distribution)

Your chosen cloud storage (when you manually export a backup)

5. Your Rights

You have full control over your data:

You can delete any recording at any time.

You can clear all data by clearing the app's storage.

You can export your data via the built-in backup function.

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. We will notify you of significant changes within the app.

Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Atamura Apps ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and shares information in the free, ad‑supported app Vox Recorder Free. The app is designed to store recordings locally by default. This policy supplements the Pro version policy by describing advertising and ad‑SDK behavior for the free version.
Data We Collect
A. Data stored locally on the device

Audio recordings, tags, bookmarks, chapters, and metadata you create.
App settings and preferences (theme, audio settings, language).

B. Optional data you provide

Calendar event metadata if you link a recording to a calendar event (title, date, time, location).
Files you export or share manually (only when you choose to export/share).

C. Data collected by advertising and analytics SDKs

The app integrates third‑party advertising and analytics SDKs. These SDKs may automatically collect:

Advertising identifier (Advertising ID / AdID).
Device information (model, OS version, device identifiers).
IP address and network information.

Usage and interaction data (which ads were shown or clicked, session duration).

App install and crash data (if enabled by SDKs).

We do not collect or transmit the audio content of your recordings to our servers unless you explicitly export or back up files to a cloud service.

How We Use Data

Local features: store and manage recordings and metadata on your device.
Advertising: deliver and measure ads via third‑party ad networks.
Analytics: improve app stability and performance using aggregated crash and usage reports.
Optional backups: upload encrypted backups only when you explicitly choose cloud backup.

Advertising, Ad SDKs, and Third Parties

Advertising providers: Vox Recorder Free uses advertising SDKs such as Google Mobile Ads (AdMob). These SDKs may share data with their partners to serve and measure ads.

Data shared with ad partners: advertising SDKs may share device identifiers, IP address, and usage signals necessary to deliver ads.

No audio sharing: the content of your recordings is not shared with ad networks unless you explicitly export or share the file yourself.

List of third parties: Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) and other ad partners integrated by the SDK. The exact list of ad partners may change; we will update this policy when we add or remove major partners.

Personalized Advertising, Consent, and Opt‑out

Personalized ads: we and our ad partners may deliver personalized ads based on device and usage data.

EU/EEA/UK/CH consent: users in the EU/EEA/UK/Switzerland will be presented with a consent dialog before personalized advertising is shown. You can accept or decline personalized ads; declining may result in non‑personalized ads.

How to opt out: you can reset or limit your Advertising ID in Android settings:

Android → Settings → Google → Ads → Reset advertising ID / Opt out of Ads Personalization.

Consent management: if you decline personalized ads, we will instruct ad SDKs to request non‑personalized ads where supported.

Data Safety and Play Console Requirements

We will complete the Google Play Data Safety form accurately for Vox Recorder Free and declare the types of data collected and shared (e.g., device identifiers, usage data).
The privacy policy URL must be hosted and entered in the Play Console under App content → Privacy policy.
The policy must also be accessible from within the app (Settings or About screen).

Security and Data Retention

Local storage: recordings and metadata remain on your device until you delete them.
Backups: if you create a cloud backup, you control where it is stored; backups may be encrypted if you choose that option.
Security measures: we use reasonable technical measures to protect local data, but no method is 100% secure. Protect your device with a screen lock and keep backups secure.

Children

The app is not intended for children under 13. If you believe we have collected personal data from a child without parental consent, contact us and we will take steps to remove the data.

Your Rights

Access and deletion: you can view and delete recordings and metadata from within the app.
Consent withdrawal: you can withdraw ad consent in the app settings or via the consent dialog, and you can reset the Advertising ID in Android settings.
