Voxla ("we", "our", "the app") is a live social audio room application. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices regarding that information.
1. Information We Collect
Account information: phone number, email address, or third-party login details (e.g. Google Sign-In), username, profile photo, and other profile details you provide.
User content: chat messages, images, room names, family/group names, and moment posts you create within the app.
Voice data: when you join a live audio room, your voice is transmitted in real time to other participants via our real-time communication provider (ZegoCloud). We do not permanently store raw audio recordings of your conversations unless required for safety/moderation purposes.
Usage data: app interactions, room activity, gifts sent/received, virtual currency balance and transaction history.
Device information: device model, OS version, unique device identifiers, IP address, and general location for security and fraud prevention.
Purchase information: in-app purchase records processed through Google Play Billing. We do not directly collect or store your payment card details.
2. How We Use Your Information
To provide, operate, and maintain the app's core features (audio rooms, chat, gifting, social features).
To personalize your experience (VIP levels, avatars, frames, badges).
To process virtual currency purchases and in-app transactions.
To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and violations of our Community Guidelines.
To communicate with you about updates, support requests, and important notices.
To improve app performance and troubleshoot technical issues.
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:
Service providers who help us operate the app, including Supabase (database and storage hosting) and ZegoCloud (real-time audio/video infrastructure).
Other users — your profile, room activity, and public content are visible to other users as part of normal app functionality.
Law enforcement or regulators when required by law, or to protect the safety of our users and the public.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely using industry-standard practices, including encrypted connections and access-controlled databases. While we take reasonable measures to protect your information, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
5. Your Choices and Rights
You can edit or update your profile information at any time within the app.
You can delete your account by contacting us at the email below.
You can control microphone access permissions through your device settings.
6. Children's Privacy
Voxla is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
7. Virtual Items and Purchases
Voxla includes virtual currency ("coins") and virtual gifting features. Virtual items have no real-world monetary value, are non-transferable, and are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or Google Play policies.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
