Why I’m Running for Manor ISD School Board, Place 5 – Patrick Patterson
For over 45 years, I’ve had the privilege of serving as an educator, from the classroom to the principal’s office. I’ve seen firsthand how dedicated teachers change lives, how engaged communities uplift schools, and how strong leadership can shape the future of our students.
I’m running for Manor ISD School Board, Place 5, because I believe that every child deserves the opportunity to thrive, and that starts with putting our teachers first. When we invest in teachers—providing them with the resources, support, and respect they deserve—we directly improve student outcomes. Strong, well-supported teachers lead to successful students, which creates a brighter future for our entire community.
I’m not a politician—I’m an educator. My commitment is to the students, parents, teachers, and families of Manor ISD. I’ve dedicated my life to education, and now I’m ready to bring my experience and passion to the school board. Together, we can build a district that prioritizes our teachers, supports our students, and fosters a thriving community for all.
Why am I running? Because our kids deserve the best, and that starts by supporting the best teachers.
