I am proud to announce my candidacy for Council in Otonabee Ward for the upcoming municipal election.

Born and raised in Peterborough, specifically within Otonabee Ward. I have a deep love for our city and a strong dedication to our community. Through my volunteer work with local school events and initiatives like the Under the Lock Fishing Derby, I’ve seen firsthand what makes Peterborough special, as well as the challenges we must overcome together.

It is time for fresh leadership and a forward looking approach to help lead Peterborough into the future. My platform focuses on delivering sustainable change through fiscal responsibility while directly addressing the core issues impacting our city:

• Addressing Homelessness and Addiction: Supporting compassionate, actionable solutions for critical social challenges. This means building long-term supportive housing solutions that produce tangible results, rather than relying on costly short-term measures that fail to address the root causes or deliver lasting change. 

• Fiscal Responsibility and Tax Control: Curbing uncontrolled tax increases by optimizing municipal spending and driving operational efficiencies over the coming years.

• Investing in Local Parks: Finding practical, affordable ways to enhance and maintain our community parks and green spaces.

• Expanding Tourism Revenue: Actively drawing in new revenue streams from tourism to help relieve the financial burden on local taxpayers.

I am committed to building a balanced, prosperous future for Otonabee Ward and all of Peterborough.
