Some quick bio info you might want to know!
I was born outside Chicago but largely grew up and attended high school in New Jersey.
I graduated from Miami University in Ohio in 1998 with a BA in English and a minor in French. During my time at Miami, I spent a semester in Luxembourg focusing on history and French. I also spent a summer interning for a theater production company which sent me to Okinawa, Japan.
I attended NYU's Publishing Institute after leaving Miami University and planted roots in New York City for a few years working both in book publishing and then in advertising.
After a few years in NYC, I moved to London where I did my graduate studies, completing an MSc in New Media, Information Systems and Society in 2002 from the London School of Economics. I returned to NYC and worked for a non-profit and then in 2004 began working for a HR Software Development firm and three years ago I transitioned to a business spend management software company called Coupa.
Since arriving in Sewickley I have served on the board of Sewickley Newcomers and Neighbors; I am an active member at Sewickley Presbyterian Church where I have been a member of the music program and many other committees. I have also served in leadership roles for the HSA at Osborne Elementary and have worked closely with the Child Health Association in fundraising endeavors. Recently I produced THIS lovely video for the Child Health Association 2021 fundraiser. I also have served on the board of the Sewickley Public Library and love the opportunity to not only be a steward of this amazing resource, but get to know our community in a whole new way.
My husband Matthew and I have two spectacular little girls and have enjoyed our new lives in Glen Osborne since moving here in 2019. Being so close to school, town and having the Mary Roberts Rinehart Nature Park basically in my backyard has been downright magical.
