Make Newport more affordable by increasing revenue from non resident sources and improving efficiency in city utilities.

• EDUCATION

Work with the School Committee and administration to strengthen our schools.

• REDUCE THE TAX BURDEN

Reduce the tax on residents by collaborating with state leaders to increase Newport’s fair share of tax revenue.

• ROADS & TRANSPORTATION

Improve roads and sidewalks, alleviate traffic and parking shortages, and extend transportation access to all.

• HOUSING

To protect quality of life and maintain  Newport’s character, strive to maintain density and promote redevelopment of underutilized properties where infrastructure can support workforce housing.
