My name is Amanda Fitchett and I am running to serve as Medford’s representative on the Lenape Regional High School District Board of Education.
Our family moved to Medford in 2013 because of the outstanding reputation Medford Township & Lenape District Schools have to ensure our two daughters (5th & 7th grade) are prepared for life after Medford.
As a proud graduate of Cherokee High School (Class of 2000) and former dual certified educator at Shawnee (2017–2024), I bring a perspective shaped by both personal experience and professional service. I know what it means to learn, teach, and uphold district policies from the inside—and I want to use that knowledge to strengthen our schools for every student and family.
I bring to the Board:
A deep understanding of the educational process, from classroom to policy.
Problem-solving skills and adaptability to meet challenges head-on.
A strong focus on student success and outcomes.
The ability to balance multiple stakeholder perspectives—students, families, staff, and community.
Firsthand insight into how district policies truly impact classrooms.
I am committed to ensuring that every decision made at the board level reflects what matters most: preparing our students for success while supporting the educators and families who guide them.
