In 2018, we were named as a National PTA School of Excellence for building strong family and school connections. We are only the second school in Delaware to ever earn this award!
We represented Delaware on the national stage in 2018 when not one but two of our schools were selected as the Delaware's only National ESEA Distinguished Schools for closing the achievement gap. We've also cut in half the number of schools that are labeled as under improvement.
In 2019, we claimed the first-ever state championship in unified basketball. Our athletes have also taken home a number of recent individual state titles in swimming, diving and other sports!
Since 2016, we've earned 9 statewide recognitions for schools that are showing exceptional growth in student achievement.
We've competed with the best of 'em at the Delaware Science Olympiad Competition, most recently bringing home a whopping 24 medals!
When temperatures hit a record low during the recent Code Purple, our high schoolers stepped up and collected donations to help those in need in Wilmington and Newark.
We're building the next generation of leaders through a highly successful program called The Leader in Me. Now in place at 3 of our elementary schools, this program is empowering children with the leadership and life skills they need to thrive in the 21st century.

We're teaching students the language of tomorrow through our highly successful Chinese immersion program. This year, our first graduating class of 5th graders are off to continue their Mandarin in our new middle school Chinese immersion program.
