Microphone access
Voskscribe requests microphone access solely to convert speech to text while you are actively using the app. Audio is processed entirely on your device using an embedded, offline speech recognition engine (Vosk). Audio is never recorded to a file, transmitted off your device, or sent to any server — including to the developer, to Google, or to any third party.
Transcripts
Transcripts you save are written only to your device's local storage (Downloads/Voskscribe folder) and are never uploaded, synced, or transmitted anywhere. You control these files the same way you control any other file on your device — the app has no access to them once saved beyond writing them.
Internet access
Voskscribe does not request internet access and makes no network connections. There is no analytics, tracking, telemetry, or advertising SDK of any kind in the app.
Feedback
The app includes an optional "Send Feedback" option that opens a Google Form in your browser. Anything you choose to submit there is handled directly by Google Forms and governed by Google's own Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy), not by Voskscribe. Submitting feedback is entirely optional and not required to use the app.
Data collection summary
Voskscribe does not collect, store, or share any personal data, audio, or transcripts with the developer or any third party. Everything the app does happens locally on your device.
