The purpose of this workshop is to bring together researchers in mathematical fluid mechanics to exchange recent results and develop new research directions in vortex dynamics. Vorticity provides a central framework for understanding the evolution of incompressible flows: the formation, persistence, and interaction of vortices connect the geometry of fluid motion with fundamental questions concerning stability, regularity, and long-time behavior. Through focused lectures and discussions, the workshop aims to strengthen connections between rigorous analysis and the physical mechanisms underlying these phenomena.
