Ved Pandkar is a 16-year-old studying at Montgomery High School. He has had a passion for origami since his early childhood. It was sparked by a birthday gift of a simple origami book. This initial spark has grown into a full fire over the years of practice that Ved has put into his passion. In recent years, he has folded complex origami models such as the Ryujin 3.5 by Satoshi Kamiya. While Ved’s origami journey has lasted for years, he isn’t planning to stop.

In the summer of 2020, Ved donated his paper crane folds to the Princeton Paper Crane Project at the Art Council of Princeton for a community project, and the project served as a collective wish for hope and peace for all. Additionally, Ved has taught origami classes to children in his local community and in this library.
