General Pricing and Information
We occasionally have adult dogs or older puppies available. We can't keep every retired breeding dog and often choose to place them into pet homes to live out the rest of their days in luxery. We save 1-2 spots for retired dogs that have an extra special impact on us, but most of our dogs would rather retire into a home with fewer dogs and puppies pestering them. While we love all of our dogs, we want the best for them and sometimes that means retiring them elsewhere.
We also sometimes hold back puppies as prospects for our program. Puppies have a lot they must prove before becoming an offical breeding dog. Not every puppy matures to fill what we were hoping for them. For this reason, they may occasionally become available to other breeding programs or as loving pets. Any puppies bred by us are still covered by our health guarentee. For breeding rights, we beleive the dog must prove themselves. We require any puppies sold with full registration to undergo a minimum of SV hip/elbow testing and DM testing. In addition to passing health testing, they must earn either an SV show rating of SG or higher, or an approved working title equivalent to a BH. Until all requirements are met, the puppy will either be on limited registration, or full registration with Hausgladfel listed as a co-owner of the dog. Once breeding requirements are met, full registration and ownership will be transferred to the buyer.
*Hausgladfel German Shepherds is not responsible for any training, titling, health testing, or show expenses on puppies sold to breeding homes*
Pricing of older puppies or adults is based on the age and level of training the dog has as well as what heath certifcations have already been completed. Country of birth or the original litter pricing will also have an impact on the cost of the puppy. While we try to be fair with our pricing, the longer a dog is with us, the more we have spent on that dog to work towards proving it through training, health testing, and titling. That additional work comes with added cost, but means you get a more refined dog that is past the annoying puppy phases.
Deposits for older dogs are $1,000 and are nonrefundable. Deposits can be transferred to another dog or litter if needed. The deposit comes out of the final price of the dog. The remaining amount is due upon pickup/transport.

Call Name: Kira
Kira is looking for a retirement home. She is a 6yr old Romanian import. She takes a while to warm up to people, but once she does she is incredibly sweet. She is very loyal to her people and follows us everywhere. She is selective with men and needs an experienced handler. She would do best as an only dog, but will tolerate neutral or submissive females. She does not like intact males. Kira has high prey drive and should not be kept with small animals including cats. I have never had her around children, but wouldn't reccomend her for young kids.
Kira is AKC registered and has her AKC DNA test. She should not be used for breeding at this point as we have not had any success with her getting pregnant. She had two litters when she was younger in Romania. She is UTD on vaccines and preventions and has no current health issues. Kira has no hernias, heart murmurs, or recessed vulva and has never had any issues with allergies. She also has a full embark pannel and is clear of all tested disorders except DM which she carries one copy of (will not become affected). She is still intact.
Kira is out of VA1-RO Quartz von der Blaro and VA1-RO Ruby von der Blaro! She is a granddaughter of VA7 BSZS Djambo vom Fitchenschlag and VA1 BSZS Jukika Inferno!

Kilo is a roughly 10mo old full German shepherd puppy we are helping rehome. He is a rescue we took in so we have limited information on his past. I do not know anything about his parents or breeding. We ran a full embark panel on him which shows he is 100% GSD and clear of all tested genetic health disorders. Kilo can be anxious with new people and will initially bark and raise his scruff. He doesn't bite and once he settles in, he thinks he is a lap dog. Kilo is great with children. His previous owners had him with a collie and he has done fine with all of our other dogs. I haven't tested him with our cats yet. Kilo is fully crate trained, potty trained to a doggy door, and UTD on his vaccines. He is still intact.
