Nora Collins, a volunteer with the Grief Ministry at the Catholic Community of South Baltimore, provides a15-minute video to train new volunteer "perishable food shoppers" for the Archdiocese of Baltimore Grief Ministry. (Not Oscar award winning material- so lots of appreciation as you tolerate this low production!) This 15-minute video is housed on YouTube– in two parts. Please watch both Part 1 (5 minutes) and Part 2 (12 minutes).

Ready to volunteer?

Once you feel prepared to start volunteering, please send an email to Yvonne Wenger, Archdiocese, to confirm you are "ready to go." You will then begin to receive Yvonne's monthly sign-up emails– where you will be invited to sign-up for a variety of ways to engage, including as a "perishable food shopper." Critical reminder!

Please recall that once you have signed-up as a "shopper" for a particular week of the upcoming month— that you are ON CALL for the week you selected. A final confirmation email will be sent to you the Friday before your week to shop. It is possible that you will not be needed to shop for the week you selected- so it is essential to watch your emails the Friday before the week you are scheduled.
