The extension lets you adjust volume, equalization and stereo balance for browser tabs. After you invoke the extension and apply an audio setting, it accesses the selected tab’s audio stream and processes it locally in memory using the Web Audio API. It does not record audio to files or upload audio. It does not request microphone access.
The extension accesses open-tab identifiers, titles, URLs, audio and mute status to display the current tab and audio-tab list, identify sites and switch between tabs. This information is used locally for these features; it is not saved as browsing history, sent to the developer or shared with third parties.
Appearance, the soft-limiter setting and a custom preset containing volume, equalizer and balance settings are saved in chrome.storage.local on this device. These settings are not synced by this extension to a remote service. Temporary audio sessions remain in memory while capture is active and end when capture, the tab, the browser or the extension closes/reloads.
The extension contains no analytics, advertising, tracking SDKs, account registration or audio uploads. It does not sell user data or transfer extension-accessed audio or tab information to the developer or third parties.
If you choose to email support, Naeem receives your email address and the information you include. This is separate from extension processing. Email is handled through the email providers used to send and receive it, including Gmail, and is used to respond to your request. Do not send sensitive audio or browsing data unnecessarily. You may request deletion of support correspondence by emailing the address above, subject to applicable retention obligations.
Use Stop control or Stop all to release active tab capture. Uninstalling the extension removes its locally stored extension preferences. You can overwrite a saved preset and change appearance or limiter settings in the extension. Contact support about information you voluntarily sent by email.
The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Audio and tab data are used only to provide the disclosed audio-control features.
If practices change, this policy will be updated with a revised effective date and any disclosures or consent required by applicable policies.
