Thank you for using Volume Booster & Equalizer. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how information and device permissions are used within the app.
The app may request access to certain device features and files to provide its functionality:
Microphone: Used only when you tap the microphone icon to capture your voice for voice-based search.
Speech Recognition: Used to convert your spoken words into text for the search field.
Photos Library: Used to allow you to select videos from your photo library for importing and processing.
Files and Documents: Used to allow you to import supported audio or video files from the Files app and save or export processed files to a location you choose.
We may also collect limited device, diagnostic, and usage information where necessary to maintain and improve app performance.
Information and permissions are used only to provide the app's features, process your selected media, perform voice-based search, improve app performance, fix bugs, provide customer support, and comply with applicable legal obligations.
Your microphone is accessed only when you actively use the voice search feature.
Microphone access is requested solely to capture your voice when you choose to use voice search.
Speech Recognition permission is used to convert your spoken words into text so they can be used in the search field.
You can deny or revoke these permissions at any time through your device settings. The app's regular search functionality remains available without using voice search.
Photos access is requested to allow you to select videos from your photo library for importing and processing.
The app does not access your photo library for unrelated purposes. You can manage or revoke Photos access at any time through your device settings.
The app may use Apple's file and document picker functionality to allow you to import supported audio or video files from the Files app.
Processed files can be exported or saved to a location selected by you. The app does not access files outside of those you explicitly select through the system file picker.
Media files selected by you are processed for the purpose of providing the app's features.
We do not permanently store your personal photos, videos, or audio files on our servers unless a specific feature explicitly requires it and you choose to use that feature.
Where processing can be performed directly on your device, the media remains on your device during processing.
We may use trusted third-party service providers for purposes such as analytics, crash reporting, performance monitoring, subscription management, advertising, or payment processing, where applicable.
These providers may process limited information according to their own privacy policies and applicable laws.
We do not sell your personal information.
We do not share your personal photos, videos, audio files, or voice recordings for advertising purposes.
Information may be shared with service providers when necessary to operate and improve the app, when required by law, or when necessary to protect our rights, users, or security.
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide our services, maintain app functionality, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Media files that you select for processing remain under your control and can be removed from the app or device according to the applicable system functionality.
The app is not directed toward children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted with a revised effective date.
