Thank you for using Bass Booster ("the App", "we", "us", or "our"). Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App accesses, how it is used, and your rights. By using the App, you agree to the practices described below.
Bass Booster does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to our own servers. We do not have a backend that gathers your name, email, contacts, location, or browsing activity. We do not use advertising or analytics tracking SDKs, and we do not sell or share your data with data brokers.
The App requests the following permissions only to provide its core features. All processing happens locally on your device:
Media & Apple Music Library — Used to import and play songs from your library inside the App. Your library content is never uploaded or shared.
Microphone — Used solely for real-time audio processing and the audio visualizer while you listen. Audio from the microphone is never recorded, saved, or transmitted anywhere.
Photo Library — Used only to let you import video files you choose. We do not scan, upload, or access photos beyond the files you explicitly select.
You may revoke any of these permissions at any time in your device's Settings → Privacy. Some features may stop working if a required permission is removed.
The App offers optional in-app purchases and subscriptions, processed securely by Apple through the App Store. We do not see or store your payment card details.
To manage subscriptions, validate purchases, and restore them across your devices, we use RevenueCat, a third-party purchase-management service. RevenueCat may process a randomly generated app user ID, your purchase history, and basic device/system information (such as device model and OS version) to deliver this functionality. Your use of the App Store is also governed by Apple's Privacy Policy: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/
App settings (such as your equalizer presets, bass level, and preferences) are stored locally on your device. Uninstalling the App removes this data.
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
The only third-party services used are Apple (App Store, media playback) and RevenueCat (purchase management). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these services and encourage you to review their policies.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Effective Date." Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the revised policy.
