Reverse Voice: AI Changer — Privacy Policy

Reverse Voice: AI Changer, shown on your device as "Voice Reverser", is developed by Golden Boat. This policy explains what information the app collects, how it is collected, what it is used for, and who it is shared with. It applies to the Reverse Voice: AI Changer iOS app.

We designed Voice Reverser to keep your work on your device. Most of what the app does — reversing audio, trimming, playback, and reversing or flipping images — runs entirely on your iPhone or iPad and sends nothing anywhere. One feature is different, and this policy describes it in detail: AI Voice Cover, which cannot run on your device alone.

Voice Reverser does not display advertising.

1. Voice recordings and AI voice processing

What we collect. When you use Voice Reverser, the app can create audio recordings using your device's microphone, and can read audio files that you choose yourself from your library or the Files app. These recordings are stored on your device.

When a recording leaves your device. Only when you use AI Voice Cover, and only after you explicitly agree. Before the first upload, the app shows a consent screen that states what is sent, who receives it, and what it is used for. Nothing is uploaded unless you tap “Agree & Continue”. Consent is off by default and nothing is pre-selected.

What is sent. Only three things: the audio you recorded or selected, the identifier of the voice style you chose, and a language code.

Who receives it. The recording is first sent to our own server at voice-changer.var-meta.com. That server does not perform the conversion itself: it forwards the audio to fal.ai, a third-party AI platform, where the ChatterboxHD speech-to-speech model by Resemble AI performs the voice conversion.

Protection at fal.ai. We reviewed fal.ai's published terms and privacy policy before adopting the service, and we consider the protections they provide to be consistent with those described in this policy. Under those terms, audio submitted for processing is licensed to fal.ai solely to provide the service, and fal.ai does not acquire ownership of it. fal.ai publishes its own privacy policy, including how long it stores personal information, at https://fal.ai/privacy, and its terms of service at https://fal.ai/terms. We share your recording with fal.ai only to perform the conversion you asked for, and for no other purpose. If fal.ai's commitments change in a way that reduces the protection given to your recordings, we will update this policy.

How it is used. Solely to generate your converted audio, which is returned to your device and saved in the app's History. Under fal.ai's terms, your recording is processed to perform the conversion we request; fal.ai may also derive anonymised, aggregated statistics from that processing to operate and improve its services. Your recording is not sold, and is not used for advertising or profiling.

What is never sent. Your name, email address, contacts, photos, location and device identifiers are never sent to this service.

Retention. The audio is retained by fal.ai only as described in its own retention policy, available at https://fal.ai/privacy. We do not keep a copy of your recording on our server beyond what is needed to return the converted result to your device.

Withdrawing consent. You can withdraw permission at any time in the app under Settings → AI Voice Data Sharing. After you withdraw it, the app will ask again before any further upload, and no recording will be sent until you agree again.

2. What stays on your device

The following never leave your device: audio reversing, trimming and playback; image reversing and flipping; and your History of saved results. Deleting an item from History deletes it from your device. Uninstalling the app removes all of it.

3. Device and usage information

To understand how people find and install Voice Reverser, we work with AppsFlyer, a mobile attribution provider. AppsFlyer may process your device's advertising identifier and general technical information such as device model, operating system version, and the marketing campaign an install came from. AppsFlyer's privacy policy is available at https://www.appsflyer.com/legal/services-privacy-policy/. When you purchase or renew a subscription, AppsFlyer also receives the fact of the purchase and its value, so we can measure which marketing campaign led to it. It never receives your payment details.

On iOS, this only happens with your permission. When you first open the app, iOS asks whether you allow Voice Reverser to track your activity across other companies' apps and websites. If you decline, no advertising identifier is collected. You can change this at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. 

We also support Apple's SKAdNetwork, a privacy-preserving install attribution framework that reports campaign performance to us without identifying you.

Voice Reverser does not display advertising and does not sell your personal information.

4. Subscriptions

Voice Reverser offers an auto-renewing subscription. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never receive or store your payment card details. Apple provides us with the status of your subscription so the app can unlock the features you paid for. Apple's privacy policy is available at https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/

5. Support correspondence

If you contact us for support, we receive the email address you write from and the content of your message. We use it only to answer you.

6. Children

Voice Reverser is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

7. Security

We use commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information from loss, misuse and unauthorized access. Audio sent for AI Voice Cover is transmitted over an encrypted connection. No method of transmission over the Internet or of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. International transfers

Our processing partners may store or process information in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where information is transferred out of your region, we rely on appropriate legal transfer mechanisms and require our partners to protect it to the standard described in this policy.

We may update this policy. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and update the effective date above. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
