This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile application ("VoiceFlow AI").
We do not require you to create an account or provide personal information (such as your name, email address, or phone number) to use VoiceFlow AI. All core features are available without registration. If you contact us for support, we may collect your email address solely to respond to your inquiry.
VoiceFlow AI records audio using your device's microphone.
Storage: Your audio recordings and generated transcripts are stored locally on your device. We do not have access to your recordings.
Processing: To provide transcription and summarization services, your audio data may be transmitted to our third-party AI service providers (specifically Deepgram and Google Gemini). This data is processed ephemerally (temporarily) for the sole purpose of generating text and is not stored by these providers for model training or other purposes, in accordance with their enterprise API policies.
We may collect anonymized usage data and crash reports to improve the stability and performance of the app. This information may include:
Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and unique device identifiers.
Usage Data: Feature usage statistics, app crashes, and performance metrics. This data does not contain any personal or sensitive user content.
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
To Provide Services: To capture audio, generate transcripts, identify speakers, and create summaries as requested by you.
To Improve Our App: To identify bugs, crashes, and performance issues using aggregated, anonymous data.

Transcription Service: We use Deepgram (Deepgram, Inc.) to convert your speech to text. Deepgram processes audio data sent from the app but does not store it.
AI Summarization: We use Google Gemini (Google LLC) to generate summaries and tags for your recordings.
Infrastrucure & Analytics: We may use services like Google Firebase to collect anonymous crash reports and usage statistics.
These providers are contractually obligated to handle data securely and in accordance with privacy laws. We may also disclose information if required by law or in response to valid legal requests.
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information.
Local-First: Your sensitive recordings and transcripts reside on your device, giving you full control.
Encryption: Data transmitted to our AI partners for processing is encrypted in transit using SSL/TLS protocols.
However, please be aware that no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure.
Since VoiceFlow AI does not rely on user accounts or cloud storage for your content:
Access & Validtion: You have full access to your data directly within the app.
Deletion: You can delete your audio recordings and transcripts at any time directly from the app. Once deleted from your device, this data is permanently removed and cannot be recovered.
Opt-Out: You can stop using the app and uninstall it at any time to remove all local data.
VoiceFlow AI is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page or within the app. Your continued use of the app after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Privacy Policy.
