Privacy Policy – Voice Automation (Action Button – Voice Automation)
Last updated: 30 December 2025
This Privacy Policy describes how Voice Automation ("the App") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the App on your Android device.
By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Policy.
Voice Automation (listed on Google Play as "Action Button – Voice Automation") lets you trigger your own automation workflows (for example in n8n or Make.com) by long‑pressing the volume button and recording a short voice command.
The App:
Uses an Accessibility Service only to detect long‑presses of the volume buttons.
Uses the microphone only when you explicitly trigger a recording.
Sends your recordings to a webhook URL that you configure, usually in your own n8n or Make.com workspace.
Stores recordings only on your device, until you decide to delete it.
Offers optional paid subscriptions for unlimited usage.
The App itself does not require you to create an account and does not collect personal information like name, email, or address.
The App may process the following technical information:
Content: Audio that you record by long‑pressing the volume button.
When collected: Only when you actively trigger recording (long‑press).
Storage location:
Stored in app‑private storage on your device.
Visible in the in‑app "Recordings" list.
Retention:
Remains on your device until you delete recordings or uninstall the App.
The App does not upload recordings to any server that the developer controls.
Content: The webhook URL you manually input (for example, an n8n or Make.com webhook).
Usage: The App uses this URL to send your recordings and basic metadata to your own automation endpoint.
Storage: Stored locally on your device in app preferences.
Sharing: Not shared with the developer or any third‑party analytics provider.
To help your workflow handle commands, the App may attach basic metadata to requests, for example:
Timestamp of the recording.
Device model.
App version.
This metadata is:
Sent only to the webhook URL you configured.
Not sent to any server controlled by the App developer.
Not used for profiling or advertising by the App.
To manage the free tier limits, the App stores locally:
Webhook send counter: The number of webhook sends in the current month.
Month start timestamp: To determine when the monthly limit resets.
This data:
Is stored only on your device (in app preferences).
Is not sent to any server.
Is reset if you uninstall or clear the App's data.
Is used solely to enforce the free tier limit (10 webhook sends per month for free users).
The App uses your information only to provide its core functionality:
Process voice commands: Record audio on your explicit trigger and send it to your configured webhook so your n8n/Make workflow can process it.
Show history: Display a list of past recordings so you can replay or delete them.
Automation responses: Optionally play back audio responses returned by your webhook.
Manage usage limits: Track the number of webhook sends to enforce free tier limits.
The App developer does not:
Use your recordings for analytics or advertising.
Sell or rent any data to third parties.
Collect or store your data on servers controlled by the developer.
Any data you send to your automation platform (n8n, Make.com, your own backend) is governed by their privacy policies and your own configuration of those services.
The App offers optional paid subscriptions to unlock unlimited webhook sends.
The App offers the following subscription options:
Free tier: 10 webhook sends per month (no payment required).
Monthly subscription: Unlimited webhook sends.
Yearly subscription: Unlimited webhook sends at a discounted rate.
Free trial: 7-day free trial for new subscribers (requires payment method).
All payments are processed exclusively by Google Play.
The App developer does not collect, store, or have access to your payment information (such as credit card numbers, billing addresses, or bank account details).
Payment data is handled entirely by Google and is subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
The App communicates with Google Play services to verify your subscription status (active, expired, in trial period, or cancelled).
This verification is necessary to determine whether you have access to premium features.
This verification does not involve sharing your personal data with the App developer.
The App only receives confirmation of your subscription status, not your payment details.
You can manage, cancel, or modify your subscription at any time through the Google Play Store app on your device or at https://play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions.
If you cancel your subscription, you will retain access to premium features until the end of your current billing period.
The App developer cannot process refunds directly; refund requests must be submitted through Google Play.
When you use the App:
Recordings and metadata are sent only to the webhook URL you configured.
Typically this is an endpoint in your n8n or Make.com workspace or your own server.
The App does not send recordings to the App developer or to third‑party analytics/advertising networks.
The App has no visibility into what happens to your data inside n8n, Make.com, or your own backend. That processing is under your control and subject to those services' policies.
Subscription status is verified through Google Play services.
The App requests the following Android permissions and capabilities:
Purpose: To record your voice commands when you long‑press the volume button.
When used: Only while you are actively recording.
Indicator: A visible notification appears during recording to show that the microphone is in use.
No passive listening: The App does not continuously listen in the background.
Purpose: To keep recording stable and visible while you are recording a voice command.
Indicator: A foreground notification is shown to indicate the service is active, and its text changes to "Recording…" when the microphone is in use.
On newer Android versions, users may be able to swipe away the notification from the UI, but the service runs only as long as Voice Automation is enabled.
Purpose: To detect long‑presses of the volume up/down buttons so the App can start recording without requiring you to unlock your device or open the App.
The Accessibility Service is not used to:
Read screen content.
Intercept app text, chat messages, or passwords.
Perform gestures or control other apps.
Profile your behavior or usage patterns.
You can enable or disable the Accessibility Service at any time in Android system settings.
Purpose: To send recordings to your configured webhook URL and to verify subscription status with Google Play.
The App only connects to:
The webhook URL you configure.
Google Play services (for subscription verification and payment processing).
All recordings are stored locally on your device.
You can delete individual recordings at any time from the "Recordings" screen in the App.
You can clear all data by uninstalling the App or using your device's "Clear data" option for the App.
Usage counters and preferences are also deleted when you uninstall or clear the App's data.
Once a recording is sent to your configured webhook, its storage and retention are controlled by:
Your own server, and/or
The platform you use (e.g., n8n or Make.com).
To delete data stored there, you must manage it within your automation platform or backend. The App cannot delete data from your external services.
Your subscription status and purchase history are maintained by Google Play.
The App developer does not store your subscription history on any server.
To request deletion of your Google Play purchase history, please refer to Google's data deletion policies.
The App does not integrate any analytics SDKs or advertising SDKs.
However, the App interacts with the following third-party services:
If you purchase a subscription, the App uses Google Play Billing services to:
Process your payment.
Verify your subscription status.
Manage free trial periods.
The App does not receive or store your payment details. For information about how Google handles your data, please refer to:
Google Play Terms of Service: https://play.google.com/intl/en/about/play-terms/
Google Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
When you configure and use a webhook URL, you may be sending data to:
Your own backend.
n8n, Make.com, or other automation tools.
Those services are independent from this App and have their own privacy policies. Please review and configure them appropriately.
The App:
Uses standard HTTPS (where supported by your webhook endpoint) to transmit recordings and metadata to your configured webhook.
Uses secure connections to communicate with Google Play services.
Stores data in app‑private storage on your device, not accessible to other apps without special privileges (on a non‑rooted device).
No security system is perfect, but:
The developer does not run servers that store your data.
Your main responsibility is to secure your own webhook endpoint and automation platform.
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13 and is intended for use by adults and technically competent users who manage their own automation workflows.
The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has used the App in a way that sends personal data to your automation platform, please review and delete that data in your own systems.
On your device, you can:
Revoke permissions:
Microphone and other permissions can be revoked in Android Settings → Apps → Voice Automation → Permissions.
Disable Accessibility Service:
In Android Settings → Accessibility → Installed services → Voice Automation.
Disable automation in the App:
Use the "Disable automation / Disable accessibility" option in the App settings.
Delete local data:
Delete recordings from within the App.
Uninstall the App to remove all local data.
Manage subscriptions:
View, cancel, or modify your subscription in the Google Play Store app or at https://play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions.
If you are located in a region with specific privacy rights (for example, GDPR in the EU), most of those rights apply primarily to controllers who store and process your data on their own servers. This App does not run a server backend; your data is processed locally and on systems you control (your webhook / automation platform).
If you have questions about how this App handles data, you can still contact the developer (see below).
The developer may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When changes are made:
The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised.
A new version may be bundled in the App or linked from the App.
For material changes affecting paid features or data handling, we may notify you through the App or via Google Play.
You should review this page periodically for any changes.
