Voice Journal — Privacy Policy
Voice Journal is designed to be simple and privacy-friendly.
Journal entries (voice recordings and/or typed notes) are stored locally on your device.
Your mood tags and transcripts (if enabled) are also stored locally.
The app requests Microphone access to record voice entries.
If you enable transcription, the app requests Speech Recognition access.
Speech recognition may run on-device or may be processed by Apple depending on device/language support and system behavior.
If the app displays ads, it uses Google’s Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob). Ad providers may collect device information (e.g., IP address, device identifiers, coarse location, and ad interaction data) to serve and measure ads.
If you see ads in the app, this section applies.

Voice Journal does not sell your personal information.
Your journal content is not uploaded to a server by Voice Journal.
Because entries are stored on-device, you can delete entries inside the app.
Deleting the app removes its local data from your device.
Voice Journal is not intended for children under 9.
This policy may be updated over time. The “Last updated” date will change when it does.
