If you want a dedicated sleep mask that blocks out light while delivering immersive audio for airplane travel, choose Voerou Sleep Headphones 3D; if you need a versatile headband that stays put during sports and meditation without the bulk of an eye covering, choose Fulext Sleep Headphones Headband.
• Voerou Sleep Headphones 3D: Its biggest strength is the all-in-one design combining ultra-thin speakers with a memory foam eye mask for total darkness; its trade-off is the fixed form factor that cannot be used as a standard headband or for active sports.
• Fulext Sleep Headphones Headband: Its biggest strength is the secure, sweatproof fit that works seamlessly for side sleepers and athletes alike; its trade-off is the lack of built-in light blocking, meaning you still need separate eye coverings for total darkness.
• Who it's for: The Voerou is the clear winner for heavy travelers and insomniacs who need silence and darkness simultaneously, while the Fulext suits those who prioritize versatility for workouts or prefer to wear glasses under their mask.
The Voerou Sleep Headphones 3D is engineered specifically for the person who treats sleep as a ritual requiring total environmental control. This device merges three distinct functions into one seamless unit: a Bluetooth speaker system, a sleep mask, and a comfortable eye covering. By integrating ultra-thin stereo speakers directly into the mask structure, it eliminates the tangle of wires or the pressure of bulky headphones that often wake people up in the middle of the night. The design relies on a 3D contoured shape that fits snugly over the eyes, ensuring that even when you roll onto your side, the speakers do not press uncomfortably against your ears or cheekbones.
What sets this product apart is its focus on light blockage and temperature regulation. Constructed from soft, breathable memory foam and hypoallergenic fibers, the mask actively helps regulate temperature to keep your face cool throughout the night. This feature is particularly critical for individuals suffering from insomnia, migraine headaches, or dry-eye issues, as the material allows for healthy oxygen flow while keeping dry air out. The Ink Black color and solid pattern provide effective light blockage, which is essential for creating a cave-like environment regardless of whether you are traveling across time zones or trying to nap during the day.
For the frequent flyer, this is a game-changer. When you are seated in an economy cabin with a reclining tray table and overhead lights flickering, the Voerou acts as a portable sanctuary. You can stream white noise or a podcast via Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity without removing the device to adjust volume or take a call. The battery life supports up to 10-12 hours of continuous playtime, which is more than enough to last through a long-haul flight or a full night's rest. However, you should skip this option if you plan to use the device for high-intensity activities like running or gym sessions, as the memory foam and structured mask design are not intended to handle sweat or rapid movement.

The Fulext Sleep Headphones Headband takes a different approach by prioritizing mobility and security over environmental isolation. Instead of wrapping around the entire eye area, this device functions as a sleek, athletic headband that houses embedded stereo speakers. The enclosure material is made of Spandex, which provides a stretchy, form-fitting grip that keeps the audio source securely in place whether you are tossing and turning at night or pushing through a sweaty workout. This makes it an ideal choice for side sleepers who find traditional masks shift too easily or feel too hot, as the band sits firmly without obstructing vision or requiring adjustment.
Its versatility shines in scenarios where you need audio but also need to see or move freely. The Bluetooth 5.4 chip ensures fast pairing and stable transmission, allowing for uninterrupted music or calls during sleep, meditation, or exercise. Because the speakers are ultra-flat and embedded within the fabric, they avoid the clunkiness of over-ear models, making them perfect for those who want to listen to audiobooks while doing yoga or stretching before bed. The inclusion of a USB C charging cable and a two-year warranty speaks to its durability and modern convenience, offering peace of mind for users who rely on their gear daily.
However, this product does not offer the same level of sensory deprivation as a full mask. If you are a light sleeper who is sensitive to ambient light, the Fulext will not help you shut out the sun or a streetlamp. You would need to pair it with a separate sleep mask or blindfold to achieve total darkness. Additionally, while the Spandex material is sweatproof, the lack of memory foam means it might not provide the same plush, cushioned comfort against the skin that some users crave for deep relaxation. This pick is best for the active individual who values a secure fit and multifunctional use over a dedicated "sleep cocoon."
• Best for airplane travel → Voerou Sleep Headphones 3D, because the integrated light-blocking mask creates a dark, private zone in a noisy, bright cabin.
• Best for side sleeping comfort → Voerou Sleep Headphones 3D, due to the 3D contoured design that prevents speaker pressure on the cheek.
• Best for sports and sweating → Fulext Sleep Headphones Headband, as the sweatproof Spandex material is designed to withstand physical exertion.
• Best for battery longevity → Voerou Sleep Headphones 3D, offering up to 10-12 hours of playtime on a single charge.

• Best for light sensitivity → Voerou Sleep Headphones 3D, providing full light blockage with its memory foam construction.
• Best for active lifestyle → Fulext Sleep Headphones Headband, staying secure during movement where a rigid mask might slip.
• Best for value-conscious buyers → Both offer strong features, but the Fulext provides a 2-Year Warranty compared to the standard packaging of the Voerou.
In my opinion, if I were buying one of these devices for a long international flight, I would choose the Voerou Sleep Headphones 3D without hesitation. The combination of a sleep mask and wireless headphones solves the two biggest problems of air travel: noise and light. While the Fulext is an excellent piece of gear for the gym or a quick nap, it lacks the ability to create a truly dark environment. For someone seeking a complete sleep solution, especially for airplane travel, the Voerou's ability to block light while delivering crisp, tangle-free audio makes it the superior tool for the job.
Neither product uses green ear clips or traditional over-ear cups. The Voerou integrates speakers into a mask worn over the eyes, while the Fulext embeds them into a headband that sits over the ears.
The Fulext Sleep Headphones Headband is explicitly described as sweatproof, making it the better choice for sports or humid environments. The Voerou focuses on breathability and moisture regulation for sleep rather than water resistance.
The Voerou documentation provided does not list a specific warranty duration.
No, neither product claims active noise cancellation technology. They both rely on passive sound isolation and the quality of their Bluetooth 5.4 speakers to deliver audio. You must check the current price on Amazon to see which fits your budget.
