By downloading or using VocalRange (the “App”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
VocalRange is a pitch detection and vocal range utility app designed to help users check and visualize their vocal range in a clean and simple interface. The App may include features such as:
Real-time pitch detection using your device microphone
Current note, frequency, or pitch display
Lowest and highest detected note tracking
Vocal range graph or pitch history visualization
Input level or listening status indicators
Saved results, recent measurements, history records, or local preferences (if available)
Optional copy, export, save, or share features for pitch results or screenshots (if available)
The App is provided “as is” for personal and non-commercial use.
VocalRange is designed to work without requiring account sign-in. Depending on your device and enabled features, the App may request access to certain device permissions or system features, such as:
Microphone access for real-time pitch detection and vocal range measurement
Internet access for ads, billing, analytics, diagnostics, or optional remote content
Audio-related device features for pitch detection, sound feedback, or app audio behavior, if enabled
Photos / Media / Storage access only if the App provides save, export, image, or share features that require file access
Notification access only if the App provides reminders, saved result alerts, or related notification features, if enabled
If you deny required permissions, some features may not function properly or may be unavailable. For example, microphone access is required for real-time pitch detection.
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:
Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify any part of the App
Use the App to distribute malware, spam, or harmful content
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App’s data or systems
Misuse the App in a way that may interfere with its normal operation
You are solely responsible for how you use the App and for any pitch results, vocal range measurements, saved records, screenshots, exported files, or content you choose to save, export, copy, or share from the App.
VocalRange is provided as a general pitch detection and vocal range utility for convenience only. While we aim to provide a reliable experience, we do not guarantee that pitch detection, note recognition, frequency display, vocal range results, graphs, saved data, or measurement history will always be accurate, complete, or error-free in all situations.
Pitch detection accuracy may be affected by factors such as background noise, microphone quality, device performance, voice volume, pronunciation, singing style, distance from the microphone, and environmental conditions.
The App does not provide medical advice, voice diagnosis, vocal therapy, professional singing instruction, or clinical assessment. You should consult a qualified professional if you have concerns about your voice, throat, hearing, breathing, or vocal health.
The App is not intended for medical, emergency, safety-critical, or life-dependent use. Flowbit Labs is not responsible for injuries, health issues, vocal strain, losses, or outcomes resulting from the use of the App or reliance on pitch, note, or vocal range information displayed or stored in the App.
The free version of the App may display advertisements through Google AdMob or similar third-party networks. We may also offer:
In-app purchases to remove ads or unlock premium features, if applicable
Rewarded ads that may temporarily unlock benefits, if applicable
Premium features such as ad removal, additional history, export options, advanced analysis, or customization features, if applicable
All purchases are handled through the official Google Play Store billing system, and refunds are processed according to Google’s policies. We do not provide direct refunds outside of what is supported by Google Play.
The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will always function without interruption, error, or defect, or that any issues will be corrected immediately. Use of the App is at your own risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Flowbit Labs is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from:
Your use or inability to use the App
Any inaccurate pitch detection, note recognition, frequency reading, vocal range result, graph, or measurement
Any loss of local pitch history, saved results, cached data, app settings, or preferences due to device issues, OS updates, storage limitations, permission changes, or app crashes
Any microphone access issue, device compatibility issue, audio input limitation, export failure, or sharing issue
Any actions or failures of third-party services such as advertising networks, analytics providers, sharing components, or billing services
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, if you violate these Terms or misuse the service. You may also stop using and uninstall the App at any time.
We may update or modify these Terms from time to time. The updated version will take effect once it is posted with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of the App after such updates means you accept the revised Terms.
We may also update the App itself, for example through new features, bug fixes, UI changes, performance improvements, or compatibility updates.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
