Welcome to VocalMic: Sing, Record Karaoke ("VocalMic", "App", "we", "our", or "us"). VocalMic is a vocal recording and karaoke mixing application that allows users to record vocals, import karaoke tracks, edit audio, apply vocal effects, mix tracks, and export songs directly from their device.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the App across supported mobile operating systems (including iOS and Android).
The App allows users to:
Record voice using the device microphone.
Import karaoke or music tracks from device storage or system file pickers.
Edit and mix audio recordings.
Export finished songs in supported audio formats.
Your recordings and imported audio files remain entirely under your control and are processed exclusively on your device.
To provide core functionality, the App may request the following permissions depending on your mobile platform:
Microphone Permission: Used to record vocals, capture audio inputs, and apply real-time audio processing features.
Photos, Videos, and Media / File Storage Permission: Used to import karaoke tracks, access audio files selected by the user, and save exported recordings to your device's local storage or Files app.
Notifications Permission (Optional): Used to notify you when exports are completed and display important app-related updates.
Information is used solely to:
Record, process, and mix audio.
Import and export audio files as directed by the user.
Provide karaoke and vocal recording features, including vocal effects and audio enhancements.
Diagnose technical crashes, resolve software bugs, and improve overall app performance and reliability.
All core audio processing performed by VocalMic occurs locally on your device. This includes vocal recording, karaoke playback, audio editing, vocal effects, noise reduction, mixing, and audio exporting. We do not listen to, review, monitor, upload, or access your recordings.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information or audio recordings with third parties. Your audio files, recordings, and imported tracks are never uploaded to our servers.
The App uses trusted third-party developer services to monitor performance, improve stability, and diagnose technical errors. These services include:

These services may automatically collect limited, non-identifiable technical data, such as:
Device model and hardware type
Operating system version (iOS or Android)
App version and build number
Technical crash logs and stack traces
This data is used strictly for diagnostics and app optimization.
VocalMic does not display third-party advertisements and does not engage in user data tracking across other companies' apps or websites.
We take reasonable measures to protect any technical information processed by the App. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Because your audio recordings are stored locally on your device, the ultimate security of your media files depends on your device’s security settings.
VocalMic is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information or data to us, please contact us immediately so that appropriate action can be taken.
Depending on your location and applicable privacy laws, you may have rights regarding access to, deletion of, or restriction of your data. Because your audio recordings and tracks are stored entirely on your device, you remain in complete control of your content and can delete it at any time by removing the files or uninstalling the app.
Users are solely responsible for ensuring they have the appropriate rights and permissions for any music, karaoke tracks, or audio content imported into the App. VocalMic does not claim ownership over any user-created recordings or imported content.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any updates will be reflected by revising the "Last Updated" date at the top of this Policy. Continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
