The Vocal Ensemble Laboratory is dedicated to providing opportunities for amateur, semi-professional, and professional musicians to try out choral endeavors in a supportive environment. Come create a virtual choir, practice small ensemble singing, sight-singing, conducting, or workshop a choral composition with us!
Ensemble singing is best practiced with others. We host workshops in Lower Westchester, where singers can learn, practice, and share sight-singing and small-ensemble singing strategies with one another. This is an opportunity to learn and grow in a low-stakes environment, in which each participant can take time to experiment with new strategies. Next workshop: Tuesday, April 9, 2024, 6:30-9:30pm, led by Valerie Samn & Richard Slade. Sign up here! Location:
Trinity St. Paul's, 311 Huguenot St., New Rochelle, NY (across the street from the train station)
Share like-minded opportunities for singers to develop their craft through participatory choral events, including, but not limited to, workshops, sing-alongs, pop-up concerts, etc.Â
