Definition: Foldables are an interactive tool used to organize information in a visual way.
Purpose: Foldables support various learning styles, and provide a tactile way for students to engage with and remember content.
Example 1
I would have my students create this foldable when teaching about the Solar System in Science. They would glue it into their Vocabulary Notebooks and be able to easily access these definitions in one place.
Example 2
I would use this folable when teaching inequalities concepts in Math. This is a great reference for students and an easy way to compare symbols all in one place.
Example 3
I would use this foldable in Social Studies. I remember making a similar foldable and learning a lot about how large the world is, and how relatively small where I lived was.
Example 4
These are great foldables for teaching about eating healthy and taking care of our teeth. I would use this activity with K-2 students.
Example 5
This is a great life cycle foldable for Science. I like that the arrows are clear in showing the direction of the process. I also love the fun flower design and that it directly relates to the content.
