Inka Grill: Peruvian, best restaurant by quality on the corner (the undergrad area), but lunch can take a while. Not great for vegetarian options.
Bodo's Bagels: local NYC style Bagel chain, good for bagel sandwiches for breakfast and lunch. "When you are in Charlottesville, going to Bodo’s is just something you do."--The Charlottesville 29. Has vegetarian options.
Thyme: Lebanese restaurant, excellent food and good coffee. Good vegetarian option.
Oakhurst Cafe: convenient location, good food, can get busy and hard for larger groups. Has vegetarian options.
Take it away: Quick, good quality, made-to-order sandwiches. Has vegetarian options.
Pi-Napo Pizza: Neapolitan style pizza place, about 20 minute walk from the venue, but relatively quick. Has vegetarian options
Mashumen: Ramen/Japanese restaurant. About a 20 minute walk from the venue, but relatively quick. Has vegetarian options.
Christians: Local NYC style Pizza chain on the corner. Good quick option. Has vegetarian options.
Mellow Mushroom: Southern pizza chain, location on the corner. Has vegetarian options.
Got dumplings: Chinese dumpling spot on the corner. Somewhat limited vegetarian options.

Asado Wing & Taco Company: Has good wings, and also has something this business apparently considers to be tacos. Vegetarian options here are cauliflower wings or some of their "Mexican" food.
Guadalajara Mexican Restaurant: Has multiple locations in town, somehow. Good if you want to see a crime against Mexican food up close and personal.

Q Noodles: almost on the corner. Good for cold Sichuan spicy noodles and dumplings. Better experience if you speak Mandarin, but good regardless. Somewhat hard to ascertain their vegetarian options.
Guajarios: Good Cuban food. Has vegetarian options.
Smryna: Turkish Food. Somewhat limited, but excellent, menu. Only for dinner. Can get busy. Closed Tuesdays. Has vegetarian options.
Continental Divide: Southwestern food and good drinks. Casual vibe, good food, not too expensive. Hard for bigger groups. Has vegetarian options.
Doma: Decent Korean. Has vegetarian options.
Asian Express: good Chinese if you order off the WeChat menu in Mandarin. Hard to ascertain vegetarian options.

Sultan Kebab: Turkish food downtown, but cheaper than Smyrna. Vegatarian options and large portions.

Mas Tapas. Spanish food. A bit of a trek, but one of the best restaurants in Charlottesville. Reservation recommended. Vegetarian Options.

Lampo: Best Neapolitan Pizza in Charlottesville. Can have a bit of a wait and *does not* take reservations. In-person location is closed Monday and Tuesday, and is only open for Wednesday during dinner. Also has a to-go spot in IX Park that could work for Wednesday lunch.
Alley light: Speakeasy with excellent cocktails. Only an option for Wednesday night and you'd probably need a reservation. Not exactly cheap either. But if you can pull this off, it is a great experience.
Monsoon Siam: Great Thai Food downtown. Vegetarian Options.
Mariscos el Barco: Good Mexican seafood restaurant.
Michelle's Soul Food: Soul food restaruant on Main Street.
Maya: Good southern food. Vegetarian Options.
Whiskey Jar: Southern restaurant downtown with extensive (to put it mildly) Whiskey list. Vegetarian options.
Vision BBQ: Decent barbeuce restaurant.
Luce: Takeaway italian place. Pretty good! Has vegetarian options.
Tilman's: Wine bar with lots of small plates that are good. Not too expensive. Vegetarian Options.
Kardinal Hall: German style beer hall, has vegetarian options. Great for large groups! Vegetarian Options.
Dairy Market: Food court with food stands from local restaurants. Has a good ice creamery and a good brewery. Great for larger groups! Diverse options, including vegetarian food.
Jack Browns: Relaxed burger restaurant and bar.
Citizen Burger Bar: Slightly less relaxed Burger restuarant and bar.

Kanak. Excellent Indian. Definitely requires a car. There will be at least one speaker who will definitely want to go here during the conference. Vegetarian Options.

Firefly: Relaxed bar and restuarant. Has great vegetarian options.

Grit Coffee: Location on the corner near to lunch options. Probably the best quality wise among places near the conference venue.
Atlas Coffee: Jefferson Park Area. Near Mashumen and Pi-Napo.
Moge Tee: Charlottesville location of bubble tea chain. Near Inka Grill.
SK Coffee & Co: Good coffee near Inka Grill.
Mudhouse: Excellent coffee downtown, but that's kind of far from the conference venue.
Camelias: Multiple locations slightly more towards downtown. Owned by the same people as Monsoon Siam and Pineapples Thai Kitchen. Good coffee/tea and Thai pastries.
Marie Bette: If you can manage to get here for breakfast, they have great pastries and breakfast food. Kind of hard without a car though.
Cou Cou Rachou: French pastry place. Basically same issue as Marie Bette.
Poindexter Coffee: It's advantage is that it is in the Graduate Hotel.
