Monitors are volunteers and should NOT be expected to provide any technical support. If you need technical assistance, visit one of the Windows and Mac SIGs weekly.
We have multiple Mac, Windows, and Chromebook computers including one low-vision Windows station.
There is a wireless network for those with personal laptops.
You will find computers usually in a SLEEP state.
Simply move the mouse or press a key on the keyboard to wake up the computer.
IMPORTANT: Please do NOT shut down any computer after use.
Just let the computer go back to sleep
Multiple wireless laser printers (B&W and Color) and a copier are available
Please select the B&W laser for most of your printing.
Printers may need to warm up if they haven't been used recently. Please be patient and wait a few minutes before trying to print again.
FAX service is available to all at Venture Out.
The Monitor will help send and receive faxes for you.
The cost is $1 per page to send or receive. There is a discount for 6 or more pages.
Computers are restored to their original configuration overnight with “Deep Freeze.”
All user data is "wiped out" (deleted) daily at 3 am
Bring a flash drive to save your work and pictures.

Leave the Sound off on computers (unless using headphones)
Before asking an EClub Monitor, many of the common activities (i.e. printing from a cell phone) or other solutions are documented in the PINK "How to" & FAQ guide binder on the desk to the right of the printers. If printer paper is out, please request assistance from an EClub Monitor (individual wearing a "Monitor" badge.
