Received full funding to attend the training program on developing and applying coupled regional climate models at UNESCO/IOC Regional Training and Research Centre on Ocean Dynamics and Climate, First Institute of Oceanography (FIO), Qingdao, China, 2020.

Jänes' annual scholarship for research in Earth Sciences, Faculty of Science and Technology, Uppsala University, 2019. 

Received full funding from the United States Army Corps of Engineers and the Centre for Western Weather and Water Extremes (CW3E) to attend the AR Colloquium Summer School, Scripps Institution of Oceanography, University of California, San Diego.

Received research funding for PhD from the Swedish Research Council & Uppsala University for research on Atmospheric rivers and extreme hydrometeorological events in the mid to higher latitude regions. 

Received research grant from the Novosibirsk State University & Russian Academy of Sciences for research in basic sciences.

Received International Research Fellowship from the Ministry of Culture & Education, Russian Federation.

DST-­INSPIRE fellowship award (for being the University topper in the master's program) to pursue research work in basic and applied sciences in India.

Merit scholarship from the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), Govt. of India for academic excellence and to work on a master's degree thesis at the National Remote Sensing Center (NRSC), Hyderabad (2011-­2012).
