Cowboy Action Shooting
Three Great Events
June 28–29, 2–day 10 stage Club Shoot
This shoot opens the season. 6 stages on Saturday, 4 on Sunday. If you can’t attend both days, you have the option of shooting all 10 stages on Saturday. This is a good a good place to start if you are new to the game and want a small event to begin with.
July 18–20, “Green Mountain Mayhem” State Championship Shoot (see more below)
We get out all the props and decorations to make this a special three day event. It's our big event—there may be 60-70 shooters attending.
Side events on Friday include Wild Bunch, Plainsman, a 2 stage warm up and speed events.
September 27–28 “Josie Wales” Shoot
In this special event, you have the option of using 4 pistols, no rifle. And just like the June Club Shoot, you can run all ten stages on Saturday. It's also a smaller match, good for new participants as well.
In all events, spectators are always welcome. Please remember to bring your eye and ear protection. Also available at the club if needed. Free dry camping on the grounds.

General information
Set-up on Wednesday and Thursday prior to the match. All are welcome to come help!
Side events are on Friday starting with Wild Bunch at 9
Other side events include a 2 stage Warm-Up, Speed events and Plainsman in the afternoon
Six stages on Saturday and Four on Sunday. Awards soon after the end of shooting on Sunday.
Free dry camping on the grounds.
Ruger raffle on Sunday, tickets will be available for those present at the match, no prior sales.
We anticipate all the usual festivities, side events on Friday, pot luck “banquet 😁” on Saturday. If you are not camping come anyway, whatever store-bought goodies you like are fine! The Saturday evening would include the small raffle items; the bigger, better items will be raffled at the awards; things like the free shoots and the RUGER! A Vaquero, 45 Colt, Stainless, 4.6" bbl.
Our traditional Maple Syrup door prize as always!
Warm Up will be shot as a posse starting at 1:00 on Stages 1-2. This is a different format for us so please be patient! We will have a Posse Marshall to get things started; participants will divide into 2 posses as needed.
WILD BUNCH
A special category at our match will be the Vigilante Cat. Featured here is any period correct firearm. Loaded to SASS specs (e.g. 1400 fps rifle) to protect the steel targets. Military rifle correct for 1913? Semi Auto shotgun of the period? Bring it!
This is in addition to the SASS categories.

Well, we pulled it off! The rain held off until halfway through the final stage of the match. Teardown was damp, but the sun came back out before we were done.
