SPEAKERS
Prof. Tran Chieu Minh
National University of Singapore
Tran Chieu-Minh is currently an assistant professor at National University of Singapore working in model theory, a branch of mathematical logic. He is also interested in various interaction of model theory with combinatorics, geometry, and number theory. Before NUS, he did his PhD at University of Illinois at Urbana Champaine, and his postdoc at University of Notre Dame.
Prof. Mai Anh Tien
Singapore Management University
Tien Mai is an assistant professor at the School of Computing and Information Systems, Singapore Management University. His work lies at the intersection of econometrics, machine learning, and operations research where he builds learning models and algorithms to understand and predict human (or expert systems) behavior, and to support decision-making problems that involve human behavior. His focus is on applications in transportation behavioral modeling, location planning, revenue management, and game theory.
Prof. Nguyen Minh Tan
National University of Singapore
Tan Nguyen is currently an Assistant Professor (Presidential Young Professor) of Mathematics at the National University of Singapore (NUS). Before joining NUS, he was a postdoctoral scholar in the Department of Mathematics at the University of California, Los Angeles, working with Dr. Stanley J. Osher. He obtained his Ph.D. in Machine Learning from Rice University, where he was advised by Dr. Richard G. Baraniuk. Dr. Nguyen is an organizer of the 1st Workshop on Integration of Deep Neural Models and Differential Equations at ICLR 2020. He also had two awesome long internships with Amazon AI and NVIDIA Research. He is the recipient of the prestigious Computing Innovation Postdoctoral Fellowship (CIFellows) from the Computing Research Association (CRA), the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship, and the IGERT Neuroengineering Traineeship. He received his M.S. and B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Rice University in May 2018 and May 2014, respectively.
Dr. Pham Minh Phuong
Huawei
Pham Minh Phuong received the PhD. Degree in Applied Mathematics from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore in 2024 and the Bachelor of Sciences in Vietnam National University, Hanoi in 2019. Under the supervision of Prof. Guo Jian, her research interest focuses on cryptanalysis of symmetric-key cryptography in both quantum and classic setting. She has published several papers in top-tier conferences and international journals, such as CRYPTO, ASIACRYPT, ToSC.
Presently, Phuong serves as a Cryptography Researcher at Huawei International, Singapore. Her research interests are the design of new cryptography systems, applications of symmetric-key in privacy.
