Prasad Lab
of Structural Virology
Our lab at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc-Bangalore) focuses on high resolution structural analysis of human disease causing viruses, their infection machinery and mechanisms of cellular entry across membranes using cryo-electron tomography, sub-tomogram averaging, single-particle cryo-electron microscopy and other biophysical as well as molecular methods. We are part of the Molecular Biophysics Unit and located in the Center for Infectious Disease Research (CIDR).
