During the Fall, Winter, and Spring, men of all ages are invited to attend the weekly Men’s Breakfast and Bible Study, held on Tuesday mornings at Park View Mennonite Church. It is sponsored by Virginia Mennonite Men (VMMen), a group within the Virginia Mennonite Conference, but this is an inter-church Bible study that includes men from many area Mennonite churches, as well as other denominations.
The Bible Study gathers men for fellowship, heart-sharing, and spiritual growth, with 35 to 40 participants each week. It aims to be transformative, not just informative. Participants are encouraged to engage with the text and reflect on how it shapes us and guides our understanding of following Christ today. The Bible study seeks to build relationships rather than promote ideology. For those unable to attend in person, sessions are live-streamed on YouTube, and recordings are posted on VMMen’s channel for later viewing.
All are welcome! It begins at 6:45 am with breakfast and fellowship around the tables. The hour-long Bible study itself begins at 7:00, with teaching, followed by small group conversation around the tables.
WHEN: Tuesday mornings, breakfast starts at 6:45 am, followed by Bible study from 7:00-8:00 a.m.
WHERE: Park View Mennonite Church fellowship hall
