Curriculum

Scholastic Areas

1.   There are two terms in an academic year.

2.     Assessment are carried out on the basis of the syllabus. A report is given at the  end of each term.

3.   Evaluation assesses the concepts gained by the child and the areas that need to be further strengthened.

4.      Assessments is indicated in grades only.

5.      Scholastic areas have a five point grading scale.

       Co-Scholastic areas

1.         Co-Scholastic areas include personal and social qualities, regularity , punctuality , self discipline , personal hygiene , team spirit , civic sense and attitude of the student towards teachers , fellow students and school activities like physical education, music , dance  and art.

2.         A report of the assessment of co-scholastic areas including general knowledge is given at the end of each term.  Assessment is indicated in grades:

       FA1+FA2+SA1                                 FA1+FA2+SA1

       I- IV : 15%+15%+20%=50%                V- VIII:10%+10%+30%=50%

       FA3+FA4+SA2                                         FA3+FA4+SA2

       15%+15%+20%=50%                               10%+10%+30%=50%
