Bitmasky ("we," "our," or "us") built Vlogy as a fully offline app. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it.
All video editing, rendering, and media processing occur 100% locally on your iOS device. Your photos, videos, audio clips, and project files are never uploaded to our servers or shared with any third party.
To enable core video editing features, the App requests local device permissions:
Video Library: To import, edit, and export your media files.
You can manage or revoke these permissions at any time via Settings > Privacy & Security on your iOS device.
While your media stays private on your device, the App integrates two standard third-party libraries that connect to the internet to provide advertising and purchase features:
A. Google Ads / AdMob (Advertising)
We use Google AdMob to display advertisements in the App. Google Ads may collect and process limited data, including:
Device identifiers (such as the Identifier for Advertisers / IDFA, if permitted by you).
IP address and rough location data.
Technical device details and ad interaction data (e.g., ads viewed or clicked).
Google uses this information to deliver, personalize, and measure ads. You can opt out of personalized tracking on iOS via Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. For more information, please review Google's Privacy Policy.
B. Apple StoreKit (In-App Purchases)
We use Apple StoreKit to process in-app purchases and subscriptions.
All financial transactions are handled securely and directly by Apple via your Apple ID.
We do not collect or store your credit card or billing details. Apple only provides us with anonymous purchase tokens to confirm your active subscription or feature unlocks.
Our App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can take appropriate steps.
If our privacy practices change in a future update, we will update this policy and inform users through App Store release notes.
