What is her role as a student?  

She's a university student who shares her daily life, study vlogs, and exercise routines. Her content inspires the people who support her; they consider her very dedicated to her studies, and she also tries to take care of herself.

She also narrates her vlogs in English, including subtitles in both English and Korean. When she first started uploading videos, she used to speak in Korean.

At the beginning, her YouTube channel was called Hazel's Story; later, she decided to change it to her real name. She has mentioned that she enjoys studying and advises people not to accumulate homework. She was the valedictorian of her high school class 

She has a second channel called Study with Yoora, where she records herself studying. Those videos are longer, usually around two hours.

In August 2020, she reached one million subscribers, receiving many sponsorship proposals. Additionally, she deleted many of her early videos, but she has very good editing skills.
