Bio: Brandon is a senior at the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy (IMSA). Brandon is the Founder and CEO of VLearn Tutoring, earned a perfect score on the SAT Subject Test Math Level II, owns a 99th percentile score on the SAT and ACT, a two-time national qualifier for the HOSA International Leadership Conference, 7-time top 3 finalist for the Korean Scientists and Engineers Association (KSEA) Math Competition, top 5% for AMC 8, top 11 National Math Kangaroo Competition, won the Meritorious Award for HiMCM, Ambassador Award for the National Community Service Award, and is a student researcher at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine BIGMED Lab, Science Bowl A-team Captain, Learning & Disabilities Matter Mentor, Exodus Tutor, Peer Tutor, and Residential Student Leader. Bio: Nilan is from Geneva, Illinois. He graduated high school from the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy and is studying Investigative Medical Sciences at Saint Louis University. Some of his interests include anything regarding medicine, watching comedy movies/stand ups/skits, table tennis, and a little bit of video games here and there. Nilan tutors math all the way up to BC Calculus III, General Chemistry, General Biology, Cell Biology, Cancer Biology, and Microbes and Disease. He also can tutor for the following AP classes: Chemistry and BC Calculus. Finally, Nilan can tutor ACT Mathematics, ACT Science, and SAT subject tests (Chemistry and Math). Bio: Krishnachandra is a freshman at Dartmouth College, an Ivy League institution, studying Economics, Computer Science, and Cognitive Science and an alumni of Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy, Krishnachandra co-founded MathMinds, earned a perfect score on the ACT and SAT Subject Test Math Level II, owns a 99+ percentile score on the SAT, 3-time national medalist in the National French Competition, a National AP Scholar, top 10 ranked state debater, 3-time finalist at the state neuroscience competition, and was a head tutor and writing center tutor at IMSA from 2018 till his graduation. He will host seminars on various topics such as how to analyze language, ask the right questions in research, how to approach making your college list, and others as requested.

Bio: Aryan is a senior at the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy (IMSA). Aryan is very passionate about finance. He scored in the 99th percentile in the SAT, as well as ACT, and has done multiple internships related to data analytics and finance. In the past, Aryan has done a wide variety of activities, such as speech, scholastic bowl, Math Counts, and was a national Science Fair nominee. Now, he focuses on robotics, TALENT (Total Applied Learning for Entrepreneurs), LEAD (Leadership Education and Development), and improving life on IMSA campus by being a Residential Student Leader. He can tutor in SAT Reading, Writing, and Math, as well as ACT English, Math, Reading, and Science. Bio: Peter is a senior at the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy (IMSA). Peter is very passionate about leadership. He scored in the 99th percentile in the SAT. In the past, Peter has done a wide variety of activities, such as Quiz Bowl, Yearbook, and Science Bowl. Currently, he focuses on improving life on IMSA campus by being a Residential Student Leader, Peer tutor, and student ambassador for the admissions office. He also conducts research on campus about the correlation between income, education, and race and the outcome of elections. He can tutor in SAT Reading, Writing, and Math. Bio: Ji Eun is a senior at Fremd High School. Ji Eun is involved at her school as the student council president and is the research chair and upcoming captain of the Debate Team, as well as the president and founder of HOPE club, a club aimed at dispelling economic disparities in education. She is interested in art and photography, winning numerous awards in local and national contests including the Scholastic Art and Writing Contest and is also a Quest Bridge College Prep Scholar. Ji Eun is passionate about activism and solving social and economic issues through the involvement of community groups such as the March For Our Lives Palatine Chapter (MOFL) and is additionally a private English tutor. In her spare time, Ji Eun enjoys shooting portraits and is hunting for the world’s greatest fried chicken. She assists students in Reading and English, Writing and Language Arts, and high school English, History, and Social Studies based on requested subject and availability.

Bio: Yug is a senior at William Fremd High School. He is very passionate about Computer Science, Mathematics, and Business. He earned 5s on AP Computer Science Principles, AP Computer Science A, and AP Calculus BC and a 4 on AP Statistics by self-studying. Yug also earned a perfect score on the SAT Mathematics Level 2 Subject Test and scored in the 99th percentile in his SAT. He has also managed to get 3rd Place in the State Competition for BPA Java Programming(Qualifying for Nationals), 3rd Place for the Algebra 2 Written contest for ICTM Regionals, the Silver qualifier for the USA Computing Olympiad, and getting his HackMIT project on a newspaper article. Yug is also a leader for his school's Coding Club, and right now, he is improving the club by having students compete in monthly "hackathons" and learn CS topics that aren't really learned in school. He is also an active participant in his Math Team and participated in many math competitions such as NSML, ICTM, and Purple Comet. Yug has also made his own team for Purple Comet. Other than his awards in Mathematics and Programming, Yug is also experienced in the teaching field. Yug is a teacher's assistant for his AP Computer Science Principles class, where he has made sample quiz questions and helped people on CodeHS. Yug also has been a Peer Tutor for Math in his sophomore and junior year. He has also taught a workshop at a hackathon about HTML programming. Yug is willing and happy to help those in need!
