Understanding ADHD
How VLC Can Help
At Voronoi Literacy Centre (VLC), we are committed to providing early and accurate identification of learning differences to ensure every student receives the support they need to thrive. Through our comprehensive Reading Assessments, we identify students' specific literacy strengths and challenges, enabling us to create personalized intervention plans. These assessments are designed to go beyond grade-level expectations and uncover underlying issues that may hinder reading development, such as decoding difficulties, fluency gaps, or comprehension struggles. By understanding each learner’s unique literacy profile, we equip parents, teachers, and therapists with data-driven insights to support meaningful progress.
In addition to reading assessments, VLC offers ADHD and Dyslexia Screenings as part of our holistic approach to learning support. These screenings help to identify patterns of attention, executive function, and language processing that may impact classroom performance. Early screening for ADHD and dyslexia provides a crucial first step in securing appropriate interventions and accommodations—empowering students to learn in ways that work best for them. By integrating these tools into our Special Education Support framework, VLC ensures that learners with diverse needs are not only recognized but are also given the right opportunities and resources to succeed academically and emotionally.
