Hi All!
I am Dr. Vivek Gupta (Ph.D.) working at Next Big Innovation Labs® (NBIL) where I hold the position of a Senior Mechatronics Engineer. Within this dynamic environment, my responsibilities extend across the spectrum of both manufacturing and research and development, encompassing a diverse range of pivotal functions. (Role: Product design, Technical Leadership, System Design, Project Management, Prototyping and Testing, Problem Solving, Quality Assurance and many more)
Before joining NBIL, I was working in Diseases and Injuries Mechanics Mechanics Lab (DIML) as a Ph.D. student at IIT Delhi under the guidance of Prof. Arnab Chanda. Prior to DIML, IIT-Delhi, I had worked as a JRF in IIT Patna (July to December 2019).
My research interest is Product Design and Development. I have already deigned and developed Biaxial Testing Device for soft tissue characterization with ultra low cost (i.e., under 30K INR). Also designed, fabricated and optimized several Auxetic Patterns, which shows the very high expansion. I have used these auxetic patterns (as a Auxetic skin grafts) to cover large burn area.
In future, I will be working on Biomedical Device Development. New researchers/industrialist and ideas are welcome from different fields to work together.
