A day in the history of Hyderabad set a stage for future Revolution that shook the whole world from its religious fanaticism.
the day when he declared his mission to the west and rest of the world in his maiden public speech. It is not a pround moment for all of us who feel and believe Hyderabad as our own? 13th February must be recognized as 'Vivekananda Day' and should be celebrated every year to inspire the youth of our country in whom Swami Vivekananda had immense faith.

Swami Vivekananda before his historic triumphant address at the World's Parliament of Religions in Chicago in 1893, visited Hyderabad during his itinerant days in India. As a wandering monk he visited many places across the length and breadth of India. 𝗦𝘄𝗮𝗺𝗶 𝗩𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗸𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮 - a visionary leader, who has set on a journey to the west proclaiming the principles and ideas of universal brotherhood as ‘Vasudhaiva kutumbakam’ and ideas of strength, character, personality, perseverance, patience and above all, love. The journey of his lecture series that have invigorated the youth power and the national spirit has had its inception in our very own pearl city- Hyderabad. His proclamation of greatness of this ancient country and its veneration was extolled in the interaction presented in his first ever public lecture delivered in the name of ‘My mission to the west’ had all the ideas potentially concealed and were waiting to be manifested in the course of time.

Today 25-2-2021 our Volunteers team met the Managing Committee members and the Head of Institutions of Smart Kennedy School, Malla Reddy Medical College, Malla Reddy Medical College for Women, Malla Reddy Dental College, CMR Institute of Technology (Technical Campus) , and discussed about the 'Vivekananda Sandharshanam' event. They whole heartedly supported the initiative taken by the volunteers of VIHE for officially recognizing Swami Vivekananda’s public meeting on 13th February 1893 at Mahaboob College as an important day in the annals of Hyderabad by announcing it as VIVEKANANDA YUVA DIVAS.. They signed on the Petition Poster and also assured to extend this message among their college students.
