Scope of Services

Our consultancy provides academic and research support across various disciplines, specialising in qualitative and quantitative methodologies. We offer guidance on research design, data analysis, literature reviews, structuring academic work, and professional publication. Additionally, we conduct training and workshops on research methodologies.
It is important to note that our services are advisory in nature. We do not engage in ghostwriting, data fabrication, or academic dishonesty. Clients are responsible for ensuring that their use of our services aligns with their institution’s ethical guidelines.

Confidentiality & Data Protection

We are committed to maintaining strict confidentiality in all our client interactions. Any research materials, data, or discussions shared during consultations will not be disclosed to third parties without explicit written consent from the client. If a project involves sensitive data, we expect clients to adhere to ethical research standards, including securing relevant permissions and approvals.
To protect personal and research data, we implement security measures that align with industry standards. However, while we strive for the highest level of security, we cannot guarantee absolute protection against cybersecurity risks. Clients are encouraged to take additional precautions when sharing sensitive information.

Ethical Research Standards

We uphold the highest ethical standards in research and expect the same from our clients. Our consultancy does not support plagiarism, data manipulation, or any form of academic misconduct. Clients must ensure their research is conducted ethically, mainly when working with human participants.
If a study requires ethical approval (such as Institutional Review Board [IRB] clearance), it is the client’s responsibility to obtain it before proceeding. We also emphasise informed consent, data privacy, and proper citation of sources. If a project is found to violate these ethical principles, we reserve the right to refuse or discontinue services.

Payment & Refund Policy

Our service fees vary based on the nature and complexity of the consultation. Payment details will be communicated before the commencement of services, and invoices will be issued accordingly. Clients must make payments through the designated channels.
Refunds are subject to specific conditions. A full refund is available if the cancellation is made within 24 hours of booking. If work has already commenced but remains incomplete, a partial refund may be issued, with the percentage determined on a case-by-case basis. Once services have been fully provided, refunds will not be possible. Clients requesting rescheduling must do so at least 24 hours in advance to avoid cancellation fees.

Intellectual Property & Copyright

All proprietary tools, models, and research methodologies developed by Vivain's Study Consultancy remain the intellectual property of the consultant unless explicitly transferred through a written agreement. Clients retain full rights to their own research, but if our methodologies, tools, or frameworks contribute significantly to a published work, proper attribution is required.
We strictly prohibit plagiarism and unauthorised use of our intellectual property. Clients who use our research strategies or consultation outputs in publications must provide appropriate citations. Any breach of this policy may result in service termination and legal action if necessary.

Limitation of Liability

While we strive to provide high-quality research guidance, we do not guarantee specific academic or professional outcomes. Clients are responsible for the final execution of their work, and our consultancy cannot be held liable for institutional decisions, research rejections, or any consequences resulting from the application of our advice.
Additionally, we are not liable for any research misconduct committed by the client or any technical issues that may disrupt consultations or the delivery of services. Clients must exercise due diligence in applying our recommendations and ensure that their research meets ethical and professional guidelines.

Website Usage Terms

By accessing our website, users agree to behave responsibly and ethically. Unauthorised attempts to modify, distribute, or misuse website content are strictly prohibited. We do not tolerate fraudulent activities, data breaches, or the sharing of misleading information.

Termination of Services

We reserve the right to terminate our services if a client engages in unethical behaviour, fails to comply with payment terms, or if a project is deemed to be outside our ethical or professional boundaries. In such cases, any refund requests will be subject to review based on the work completed up to that point.
Our consultancy values professionalism, integrity, and mutual respect. Any behaviour that undermines these principles, including harassment, misrepresentation, or misuse of our services, will immediately terminate the working relationship.

Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

In the event of any disputes regarding our services, we encourage resolution through mutual discussion. If a resolution cannot be reached, the matter will be governed by the laws of India. Clients agree to adhere to these legal frameworks when engaging in formal dispute resolution.
We aim to foster a transparent and professional working relationship with our clients, ensuring that all concerns are addressed fairly and effectively.

Updates to Terms & Policies

These terms and policies may be updated periodically to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements. Significant updates will be communicated to clients and continued use of our services after modifications will constitute acceptance of the revised terms.
