"Coming into college and having Torie as a TA has set an impossibly high bar for future TA's to meet. She went above and beyond to keep students engaged and to make sure we all felt comfortable in the classroom. She clearly cared about all of us and was willing to help us to achieve the highest quality work we were able to. She was understanding and accommodating for students who struggled with traditional learning models. Torie is the only person to ever make me excited about learning calculus."
