Vitor Fancio
I am a Professor of Economics at Insper, where my research and teaching focus on quantitative macroeconomics, public finance, labor economics, and macroeconomic development.
My research agenda examines how governments should redistribute income — through education subsidies, transfers, or debt — in economies where access to opportunity is unequal, labor markets are frictional, and agents make entrepreneurship decisions.
I received my Ph.D. in Economics from Insper in 2024, and I have been a part-time Professor at Insper since August 2024.
