I am an education policy PhD graduate from UNC Chapel Hill's School of Education (PLS program). I study the history of school desegregation and education reform, student assignment and school choice policies, and college access and affordability. I'm also interested in urban housing and public transit policy as well as welfare policy.
I am also a school planner at Durham Public Schools where I support the design and implementation of student assignment policy, lead long range enrollment forecasts and planning, conduct school choice analysis, and construct spatial methods for measuring school poverty and economic disadvantage in the district.
