At PulseDeck: Gaming Hub we value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how our mobile application handles information when you use our services.
PulseDeck: Gaming Hub is designed as an offline-first gaming dashboard and utility. Your data remains on your device by default, and we do not host external user accounts, remote user databases, or cloud profile tracking for our core features.
Because PulseDeck is an offline-first application, most processing occurs strictly on your local device.
To provide the core features of the gaming hub, PulseDeck accesses and processes the following information directly on your Android device:
Installed Applications: To create your game library, allow quick launching, and filter installed games on your phone.
Device Health Stats: Battery level, battery temperature (where hardware-supported), available storage space, and active network type (Wi-Fi or Mobile Data) to display pre-game readiness checks.
App Usage Statistics: Playtime durations, session start/end times, and launch frequency to generate local daily and weekly gaming analytics and break reminders.
Custom Preferences: Custom gaming profiles, favorite games, and theme settings.
Note: All device stats, usage history, and gaming logs are stored securely in a local SQLite database on your device. This data is never transmitted to or stored on external servers controlled by PulseDeck.
While PulseDeck does not operate custom backend servers, we integrate trusted third-party Software Development Kits (SDKs) to facilitate monetization, in-app purchases, and app stability. These third parties may automatically collect certain diagnostic and non-personal identifier data:
Google Mobile Ads (AdMob): Serves non-intrusive dashboard and banner advertisements. Google AdMob may collect and process device identifiers (such as Android Advertising ID), IP addresses, crude location data, and app interaction data to serve contextual or personalized ads and prevent fraud.
Google Play Billing: Processes one-time in-app purchases for the Premium Lifetime Upgrade. Purchase transactions, payment credentials, and billing details are processed securely and directly by Google Play. We only receive confirmation of purchase status (entitlement) to unlock premium features locally.
PulseDeck follows a strict minimal-permission framework. We do not ask for broad system permissions upon installation; instead, optional permissions are requested in-context only when you choose to activate the corresponding feature:
PACKAGE_USAGE_STATS (Usage Access):
Purpose: Required to automatically detect when a game starts or stops in order to accurately record your gaming sessions and log playtime.
Control: Optional. You must grant this permission manually via Android Settings. You can revoke it at any time.
QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES / Scoped Package Visibility:
Purpose: Required to scan for installed games on your device so you can build and organize your personal gaming library.
ACCESS_NOTIFICATION_POLICY (Do Not Disturb Access):
Purpose: Used strictly to help you toggle Do Not Disturb or focus modes before launching a game to reduce interruptions.
Control: Optional and requested only when focus mode features are toggled.
POST_NOTIFICATIONS:
Purpose: Used to send local notifications for break reminders, battery alerts, and high-temperature warnings.
Storage location: All user data (gaming logs, session statistics, profiles, and favorites) is stored exclusively in your device’s local SQLite database.
Data Retention: Your data remains on your physical device for as long as the application remains installed.
Data Export & Portability: You can manually export your local data and gaming history to a CSV file or local backup file via the app Settings.
Data Erasure: Uninstalling PulseDeck from your Android device immediately and permanently deletes all local application databases and preferences.
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information with third parties.
Data is only processed by automated third-party ad networks and billing providers (Google Mobile Ads and Google Play Services) as described in Section 1. Third-party SDK privacy practices are governed by their respective privacy policies:
PulseDeck: Gaming Hub is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or 16 in certain jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information through third-party services, please contact us so we can take appropriate measures.
Depending on your region (including the EU under GDPR or California under CCPA), you have the following rights regarding your data:
Access and Portability: You can access all your logged data at any time via the Insights screen or export it using the in-app CSV Export feature.
Deletion: You can reset local application data through the app settings or delete all app data by clearing storage in Android System Settings or uninstalling the app.
Opt-Out of Ad Tracking: You can reset or limit your Android Advertising Identifier at any time via your device settings (Settings > Google > Ads).
Revoke Permissions: You can revoke any optional Android permission (Usage Access, Notifications, DND) at any time through your Android System Settings.
Because PulseDeck operates locally without remote cloud databases, the security of your stored app data relies primarily on your device’s built-in Android system security and local encryption mechanisms. We recommend keeping your Android device operating system updated and using secure screen locks.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our app features or regulatory requirements. Any changes will be posted within the app or on our store listing page with an updated "Last Updated" date.
