How do we practice collective and self-care?
How might we repair and reheal from societal and historical forms of trauma?
What are the connections between care and repair?
During the 2023-2024 academic year, the University of California, Irvine Humanities Center explored the theme of “Care and Repair.” We invited students and staff to work with award-winning photographer Mark Leong and Anteater alum, creative, and current UCSD doctoral student Phuc To to visually capture care and repair. Please enjoy and reflect.
What emotions do these images evoke for you?
How might you express care and repair?
