Join us in the art studios at CDNIS for 3 Saturday morning sessions (May 9, 16, 23, 2026).
Each session will feature a industry-experienced artist mentor who will set the brief and guide you through a technical challenge. Then you will have the chance to create your own artwork for feedback by a panel of experts.
We will be exploring 2D, 3D and 4D mediums - so there is something for everyone.
The HK ARTIST STUDIO AWARDS is a bit different than other competitions, because no one gets sent home! You get to join for all 3 Saturdays and work with all 3 artists, creating 3 original artworks. Each week, 1 artist’s work will be chosen as ‘star artwork’ and highlighted in the showcase. All participants will have the change to share their completed artworks in a gallery show to celebrate the awards.
During the HK ARTIST STUDIO AWARDS sessions there will be a photographer and videographer present filming the proceedings. You will be interviewed and questions will be asked about your ideas, intentions and opinions about your process. We will share the video on our you-tube channel so our HK audience can share in the creative process with you!
When your application is approved, we will send you more information such as the brief for each Saturday so you can begin to brainstorm your ideas.
