Dr. Asfak Ali is a co-founder of Deep Duo Foundation, a company focused on skill development. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering at Jadavpur University. Previously, he served as a Junior Research Fellow in DST at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Jadavpur University, and also worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at NIC. His research interests span Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, IoT & Embedded ML, with a substantial publication record that includes contributions to international journals, conferences, and Indian copyrights and Patents.
Dr. Suvojit Acharjee is currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Narula Institute of Technology, Kolkata, leveraging his extensive academic background and expertise. He obtained his Ph.D. from the Department of ETCE, Jadavpur University in June 2023, following which he transitioned into his current role. Prior to this, he held a significant tenure as an Assistant Professor at National Institute of Technology Agartala for 7 years, where he honed his teaching and research skills. Additionally, he gained practical experience as an Assistant System Engineer at Tata Consultancy Services for 1.66 years, further enriching his professional profile. Throughout his career, Mr. Suvojit Acharjee has made notable contributions to academia, with publications in esteemed peer-reviewed journals and presentations at reputable conferences. His research interests span across diverse domains, including Biomedical Signal Processing, Computer Vision, and Deep Learning.
Mr. Utathya Aich is a Machine Learning Engineer at CNH Industrial and a research collaborator with institutions such as the University of Liverpool, IIIT Bangalore, and Jadavpur University. He completed his M.Engg. in Information Technology from Jadavpur University in 2022, earning the University Gold Medal. His research interests include Computer Vision, Multimodal Learning, Medical Image Analysis, and Deep Learning, with multiple publications in peer-reviewed venues.
Miss. Sayoni Mandal is a Bachelor of Engineering student at Jadavpur University, specializing in Hydrogen sensor fabrication and IoT-based research. Her academic and research pursuits span analog electronics, circuit design, and embedded systems, with practical experience in sensor design, MEMS fabrication, and machine learning integration for real-world applications. Sayoni has conducted research at IIT Mandi on SnO₂ nanostructures for gas sensing and actively contributes to interdisciplinary projects such as real-time sign language translation and AI-driven weed detection. Her work has earned multiple national recognitions, including awards at AIU Anveshan, IEEE CASS Kolkata Chapter, and ICPR 2024. She is also a co-author of several journal papers, conference articles, and patents in emerging areas of intelligent sensing and automation.
Prof. Sheli Sinha Chaudhuri has been serving the ETCE Department of Jadavpur University for the last 26 years. After completing her doctoral studies in 2007 from the same department on robotic vision and path planning, she had been actively involved in supervising students for their postgraduate and doctoral studies in the domain of Computer Vision and Machine Learning. She has supervised sponsored projects and is currently engaged in research collaborations with Paris-Saclay University, France.
Prof. Khalifa DJEMAL received his diploma degree in Optical, Image and Signal Processing in 1999 from the National School of Physics at the University of Marseille / University of Toulon, France, and his Ph.D. in Image and Signal Processing, in 2002, from the University of Toulon, France. He is a full Professor at the Electrical Engineering Department of the Institute of Technology at the University of Evry Val d'Essonne, Univ. Paris Saclay, France. He works now within the IRA2 team of the IBISC Laboratory. His current research interests are in the areas of Image and data processing, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence. The majority of the applications concern the medical domain. Prof. Dr. DJEMAL chaired the International Conference on Image Processing Theory, Tools and Applications IPTA, in 2008, 2010, 2012, 2014, 2020, and 2023, and also the International Workshop on Medical Image Analysis and Description for Diagnosis Systems, MIAD, since 2009. He was the chair of some special sessions at several conferences. He acted as technical chairman for a number of conferences. He is a reviewer for many international journals and conferences.
Prof. Sos S. Agaian is a Distinguished Professor of Computer Science at the Graduate Center and the College of Staten Island, CUNY. Previously, he held the Peter T. Flawn Professorship at the University of Texas at San Antonio and positions at Tufts University and Aware, Inc. His research spans computational vision, machine learning, AI, data analytics, signal and image processing, multimedia security, and biomedical imaging. Dr. Agaian has secured funding from NSF, the Department of Transportation, and other agencies. He has published over 850 articles, 10 books, and 19 chapters in his field. He also holds more than 56 American and international patents and disclosures, many of which have been licensed. He has mentored 45 PhD students and received multiple awards for his research and teaching. As an associate editor for key journals and a fellow of several scientific societies, Dr. Agaian is a recognized speaker and a leader in image processing and AI conferences. He is a fellow of IS&T, SPIE, AAAS, IEEE, AIIA, and AAIA and a member of the Academia Europaea. He is the co-founder and was an honorary/general co-chair and committee member in many international conferences.
