Hi-grav Suites

You have decided to check out the local hotel accommodation.  Red 95 is the lowest level in Red Sector, and the closest to the triple-skinned hull.  So all the suites here enjoy greater than Earth-standard gravity.  You may prefer this if you come from one of the humanoid high-gravity species, or live on a super-Earth style exoplanet.

High Gravity Accommodation

For those who were born and brought up on high-gravity super-Earths, it is difficult to adapt to low gravity conditions.  Natives of these worlds are often short and squat, with dense bone structure and highly-developed musculature.  Their circulatory systems are also designed for high gravity, such that living in low gravity causes bloating and pressure-related headaches, as fluids redistribute around the body.

To cater for all needs, Babylon 5 provides rented accommodation for high-grav humanoid species.  These suites in Red Sector are adapted for those needing up to 1.4g.  The floor levels going deeper than Red 80 through to Red 95 provide environments with  increasingly higher gravity, due to the rotation of the carousel.  These levels extend outward beyond the 1.0g level experienced in the open garden.

The View from the Basement

This apartment on Red 95 is built into Red Sector's outer shell, with triple-sealed windows overlooking the exterior of the station.  The views out of the window are magnificent here.  You can see forwards towards Blue Sector.  As the carousel turns, you will be treated to views of different ships on approach to the station.  Once every rotation, you will be able to glimpse the Grid Epsilon jumpgate, which is some 5 kilometres distant, orbiting further away from Epsilon Eridani 3.

If your race requires a specifically tailored atmosphere, you should seek out similar hi-grav accommodation in Brown Sector, which serves up to six different atmosphere mixtures.
